Description For belted magnum cases. While the belt provides support for proper headspace, the life of the case will drastically shorten unless resizing is held to a minimum at the shoulder. These gauges, which can be adjusted to be used with individual rifles of the same caliber, will enable the hand-loader to control the amount of resizing simply by measuring a fired case. A one-piece gauge that will check overall length and indicate min/max case length and point out the need for case trimming. Measures min/max Headspace. Use together with the LE Wilson Case Gage Depth Micrometer found here to measure change in headspace. Does not measure body diameters. This gauge is intended to be used with fired cases to determine a basis for full length sizing and case trimming. Can be used as an aid to set up the case trimmer.
